'Do you understand me?'

I hate it when you explain something to a man, and you ask him, "do you understand?" and he says "yeah I do, I totally do" but he actually don't.

Why, why do they always do that?

And the worst part is, the next time the same thing came up, you just have to repeat yourself over and over again of the same thing.

I though he said he understood??
